Rather than go two Cairo_docks its much easier to use on cairo-dock and spaces of screenlets. As I go through the final customizations such as making the dock style match everything else I can than set the remaining gnome panel to one pixel transparency and totally hide the sucker.

Obviously I could do some more since I have conky installed. maybe stick the IM programs on conky stuff to bring some transparency.
